I've always blamed men. Because anytime I have a temperature dispute in my office it's because I am cold and some dude working next door is hot. And I always lose.

@WaffleCopter: I don't know how it would work for BC, but my boyfriend has been on Claritin for years. I believe he said when it went OTC a few years ago, the price dropped dramatically (he's also getting generic now, which helps).
@flareandglare: I can get engrossed in a First Amendment discussion anytime. Thanks for humoring me!
@flareandglare: I see your point.
@flareandglare: I said vanity plate but I meant the specialized plates at issue here. It doesn't change what I'm saying above.
@flareandglare: Well, if they are making it an impossibility to have "Choose Choice" plates, or whatever, I hope they get sued because that's wrong.
@flareandglare: I think this is really a free speech issue. I believe there was a case about license plates that essentially said if the state allows people to petition to have specialty plates approved (say, by just requiring a certain number of signatures or something), the state can't discriminate based on the…
@ostartero: That's an absurd comment. Big & Tall stores exist because none of the mainstream stores will cater to the people who are, indeed, big and tall. It's satisfying a portion of the market that was heretofore unsatisfied. The "small & skinny" stores are, oh, every other store out there.
@Whole Broad: You have the first paragraph backwards. One of the other characters lectures Grace about Adrian making her own choice. Grace is apparently against this abortion, too.
Well, now I have to spend the rest of the afternoon reading all of the DC comics on the website. THANKS A LOT, JEZEBEL!
@The Real Janelle: It happens occasionally, but it's hardly the standard. I'm four and a half years into a relationship and content where we are. I had a good friend get married less than a year after meeting her husband, but she's unusual.
I don't even think that would qualify as defamation. Even if the principal wasn't the one allocating money, it's not explicitly damaging to someone's reputation to falsely claim they spent money on one item and not another, even if one item is unpopular. Just because a statement isn't factual doesn't make it…
@ShanaElmsford: I find the term disconcerting because it sometimes implies a level of intimacy that is too personal for the office, at least for two people who are married to spouses outside the office. Maybe this is because the people I knew who used the term were both married to other people - but he nonetheless…
@SomeWonder: He was in costume, but there was no yelling.
@SomeWonder: I saw him in person a few months ago. Does the thought of running into him in the streets give you nightmares? Because you might want to avoid DC.
@klynb: Brilliant!
@zombies.like.lattes.too: is this the same rosin i used to put on my violin bow?
@KitKat: I'll consider that next time I'm tempted to pluck: more wine!
@MissMollyKate: I thought I only had four. Before I found the rest of the iceberg, so to speak.
@KitKat: I made this promise to myself too. But then I turned 30 early this year, lifted up my hair one day and realized there was a nest of gray hair I never knew about. I admit I freaked out and started plucking all the strays. I find women with a head of white hair quite lovely, but it seems it might be harder…
