@tse-tse-fly: I believe most of this debate applies to law schools, many of whom have adopted a similar anti-discrimination policy. That policy forbids any employer from recruiting *on campus* if they discriminate on any basis, whether race, gender, or sexual orientation. Essentially, allowing military recruiters

@Donovanesque: I believe Ginsburg wears hers regularly, but Sotomayor usually just wears the robe, aside from this official picture. I believe Sotomayor's scarf was actually a gift from Ginsburg.

@Poubelle: Because stockings are ridiculously uncomfortable and hot in the summer, even if warm in the winter? They tear easily and are costly to replace on a regular basis?

@crotchety: her husband, maybe? just throwing it out there.

@RisaPlata: I'm glad to hear someone give these arch supports their stamp of approval. I've been having serious trouble with arch support lately and wondered if those would give me the relief I need. Do you use them in sandals, too?

@laetitiae: Well, at least in the first 14 months, which is what that chart represents.

@Zombies make the heart grow fonder: Oh goodness. I almost took the Virginia bar, but, through happenstance, ended up in Maryland. I was grateful in the end because it was 100 degrees during the bar and I heard the power went out in the Virginia location. I cannot imagine sitting in that heat in a suit (and

@daisyhalfwit: Don't forget we are now suing over health care reform. McDonnell and Cuccinelli are two peas in a pod.

@Little Green Frog: As a relatively new resident to Virginia, this pissed me off to no end. When I moved here, everything in the state was blue, and there had been democratic governors for eight years, who definitively did not deem April Confederate History Month.

@LaComtesse: Well, I buy my eggs from the farmer's market, most times. I have more faith that the smaller farms are following good practices. When I do buy in the supermarket, I tend to go with the "cage free" or "free range" labels anyways. I know I can't be sure, but I suppose I figure every purchase I make does
