@curiousgeorgiana: Eh, she had a big night combined with a rough performance. She's bound to get some attention. I admit, I'm a little Taylor fatigued, so maybe I'm biased. But I don't think this coverage is nearly as mean-spirited as some of the comments below would suggest.

I think it was meant to be humorous. And I think it's humorous how riled up people get defending Taylor Swift. I've got nothing against the girl, but it *is* funny how she always pulls out the same look of complete and utter shock. Even if it's genuine, it's still funny, people!

Taylor seems like a lovely young girl with awesome fashion sense...but girl cannot carry a tune. I can't handle it.

After staring at that Lady Gaga picture for a few hours now, I've realized it definitely is a wig attached to a bedazzled bodysuit under that dress. It's fascinating.

Okay, the lead singer of the Zac Brown band is like a the love child of Zach Galifianakis and Jack Black. Only taller.

Is Beyonce covering Alanis??

@alotlikelo: that was my primary reason for wanting her to win.

Great news! I remember Jessica from the days when I actually read Gawker (pre-Jezebel). I look forward to reliving them here. Welcome!

@urbanspelunker: Yeah, there's a difference between a really vivid nightmare and sleep paralysis, I think. I've had freakishly real-feeling nightmares, but it's a totally different feeling from the inability to move when you otherwise feel awake.

@formergr: I think I've experienced this on a handful of occassions. It's panic inducing because I felt awake but couldn't force myself to get up. I never had any "terrifying" hallucinations, but I did hallucinate my boyfriend coming into my bedroom (we did not live together, so it would be unusual) and I remember

@TransFat: are the apps plastic or cardboard?

@cocobanal: it was, but it's already over!

@Bunsen Honeydew: I still don't think they meant troubling as in "offensive" but troubling as in poor marketing decision.

@fuerzabruta: @didntmeanto: i'm torn between waiting for the spring (and just cutting some blunt bangs for now), or celebrating my 30th birthday this weekend by chopping it off!

@didntmeanto: i've been growing my hair out too and just got past the awkward stage. but i've been really tempted to chop it off again, too, and trying to resist (for at least another month or so). these pictures are not helping my willpower

@GatsbysLover: I hate to disagree but I've always thought the blonde was a terrible color for her. I think she looks ten times better with dark brown hair. The blonde washes her out, while the brown really makes her features stand out.

@Barbarella: I thought Rachel Maddow's guest on the topic basically said the company she formed was just a way for her to get paid by Candies - in other words, there are tax benefits if her "firm" is paid instead of her, directly. She wasn't necessarily going to start running campaigns or taking on clients.

@Tchotchke: interesting...i always end up buying the bottoms a size bigger than the tops. but i have, as they say, a lot of junk in the trunk.

@Sputnik_Sweetheart: i immediately thought about making an appointment to have my hair cut off. i've been resisting the urge for awhile now, but that is just so darn cute

@cocobanal: Ok, I was living in Miami last year, and I definitely remember a week or so where, yes, it got legitimately cold in the winter. However, I definitely noted that whenever the temperature dropped below, say, 60 degrees, uggs and parkas were everywhere, to my bafflement. So while I believe you don't own a
