I dunno how Far Cry made the list instead of Crysis. Crysis was like THE bar for a while. 

Came here to say Myst AND Rogue Squadron.

Myst was a game changer. A game that influenced so many first person walking games where you solve puzzles. They still make games like Myst today. It’s legacy in gaming can’t be understated.

I was hoping to see Rogue Squadron here. I remember playing it in Toys R Us on the demo setup hoping to get a Gamecube for Christmas and just being blown away at how real it looked.

The Rogue Squadron Death Star run level was more realistic than the movie itself at the time because the laser blasts acted as light sources. 

yeah I feel like Gears 2 tower defense section and Red Faction Guerilla really should be on the list because hot damn they were jaw dropping evidence of why it was worth getting into the next gen at the time.

That setting was in Breath of the Wild as well, I remember Kotaku’s equivalent article for that game recommended swapping them. I agree it feels more natural that way.

Maybe its just me but TOTK has a setting to let you swap the jump button and it feels far more natural now to play.  For some reason the jump button always felt in the wrong place in BOTW

In California, this happens a LOT. Public Transit can be a fantastic way to get to work, since you get to read, relax, work or play on the train and don’t have to deal with terrible traffic.

I have it on Series X and had very few issues with it. But I know what you mean though, it seems like the issues with PC port are overshadowing the game where on PS5/XSX the game is fine.

I wish there was sex scenes in games like this but when it cuts to black you just get clips of like rockets taking off, exposions, tea kettle whistling etc before cutting back to the game.

It is so, so easy to understand this: objectifying yourself of your own free will is totally fine and up to you to choose to do however you want, objectifying others against their will is not OK to do. It really is that simple, honestly! Same thing as the old example of underwear vs bikinis that still confuses people…

I’ve only seen his appearance at The Game Awards and now this, but it’s wild how much vitriol he’s garnered from this site and commenters.
