Yup, kids loved it, as did myself and my brother / Super Mario Bros. playing buddy who always had to be Luigi in 1986. It’s not a great film or anything, but it’s rare to see a movie so perfectly designed for its audience, exactly what it “should be.” Still can’t imagine that anyone is mad about this movie.

To be fair the NCU should have taken a break after “Super Smash Brothers Ultimate Game Over”. Sure it broke box office records and it’s beloved by fans but its 315 minute run time was way too long.
