As a vita owner, I can say that the biggest disappointment of fans of Sony’s handheld devices has always been Sony itself.

Guess I know what I’ll be doing in a week... Okay, probably still playing Res Evil 4, but when I finish that, looks like it’ll be time to boot up Cyberpunk again.  This is definitely getting me hyped for the expansion.

I’m just hoping it’s bright, colorful and fun enough to hold my 4 year old’s attention for its run time.  If I can bring him to a movie and not have to take him for a walk every 5 minutes (Lyle Lyle Crocodile was a mistake) then I’ll be happy.

This seems like a great opportunity for Leon to say “go suck an egg.”

Don’t get me wrong, the dude is cool and loves video games. He may love what he does, but at the end of the day, it’s long hours in a recording booth and a grueling press tour. He does it for the paycheck, just like the rest of us.

Yeah Kotaku is trying really hard to convince that this is going to be a a gamer cultural touchstone movie that somehow is going to legitimize all of our childhoods spent playing videogames. If it’s not treated with the importance and gravitas it deserves it will be a major insult to gaming culture as a whole...

Today I learned that Foley can be used as a noun. I’d kindof always thought of it as an adjective that modifies “artist.” Like I knew of a foley artist and what they did, but I never linguistically thought of them as engaging in the act of “foley” or at least had never heard it put that way.

Zelda II was my first Zelda. I didn’t go in with any preconceived notions, and I thought it was an amazing game.

100% this. I haven’t played Res Evil 4 in 15 years, but since it told me to do Hardcore if I had played Res Evil 4 I started with that. I did a hardcore run back in the day, so figured I could handle it out of the gate.
