You are aware that women aren’t self-fertilizing, right?

Not all men is a totally understandable reaction. And I do know there are endless fantastic guys out there.
Let’s also not forget the fact that white women campaigned for the freedom of slaves until they realized it would hurt their chances of getting the vote.
Because the vast majority of men’s rights groups blame these things on women, or claim that it’s made life harder to be a man when the fact is that it’s still harder to be in a group that was given no choice in the matter.
For sure. And I think I missed the “making” part earlier. Plus I know I would go crazy if I had to stay at home all day — but especially if I felt like I was being forced to do so.
Plenty of men have been upvoted in this conversation.
Well, that’s only problematic if the women didn’t want to go or would’ve preferred to stay in their jobs.
Honestly, I think it’s not that it’s harder to be a man now. I think that it’s slightly easier to be a woman, and if you view the world in terms of a zero sum game, the natural assumption is that men have lost advantages or power, rather than that women have simply risen a little higher to try to meet them.
I thought that it was well documented that women live longer.
Yep — I remember someone saying that if Christian Grey lived in a trailer park, no one would care.
THIS. This is the whole problem with this argument.
That makes sense to me, because they all but admit that they’re annoyed that they can’t just walk in and make all of the decisions anymore.
Part of what I do at the moment involves fielding feedback/concern from clients and attempting to report on trending issues for company betterment blah blah blah.
Shit — you nailed it.
aka. “I hope my daughter doesn’t turn into the kind of woman that I used to treat poorly.”
For sure. But I said that my comment was somewhat abstract from the actual article because it was less about the daughter/wife contradiction, and more about the contradiction of claiming that women are both naturally inferior, dependent, poorer, etc. and that men attract these women through their money, but then…
I don’t want to derail us from the actual point of the article, but one thing I find fascinating about many online men’s groups* is that they talk about women as highly dependent creatures who make less money than men and, as a result, seek out wealthy men for added financial security, particularly if they want to…
This comment took an unexpected but welcome turn.
I must be getting the budget brand :/ Or maybe I just need to come to terms with my flat ass.
Fellow tubby here — don’t you find that the “smoothness” often makes you feel strangely bigger at times, though? Like I often feel as though my ass and hips have been flattened, rather than smoothed out, and it makes me feel wider as a result.
