Okay. I want this polished to the point I can see my face in it. This is a game that should never be rushed to meet a deadline, take all the time in the world Rockstar. A sequel to a game of a generation doesn’t come along all that often after all.

I think that we could stand with a bit more activism in gaming. As in, don’t reward the person who embezzled a million dollars. Or at least if you do, stop complaining about politicians being criminals/assholes since you’re complicit to that behaviour. This isn’t water/food. You’ll live if you don’t buy the game.

LucasArts’ 1987 point-and-click adventure Maniac Mansion is now on Steam for the first time. The inspiration for things like this year’s Thimbleweed Park, Maniac Mansion is a witty puzzle game about aliens and 80s teens that’s worth checking out even if you’re not a big fan of the point-and-click genre.

It took a total of 5 minutes... by women. I think that’s the problem right there, no women on the design team, or at least none in a position to voice concerns.

More than once I’ve had people ask me if this game was like Rust and whether or not you could get naked so....

Bodies are bodies, and in the end everyone has them—but representation is an important thing, and no woman I know who’d go into combat would do so dressed in an impractical fashion (and I’m married to a female soldier, so I’ve known several such women over the course of my life).

Yep I also hate those captain obvious in game tutorials but you have to keep in mind that for old games, you were expected to read the manual which used to contain the same info.

Exactly. People that maybe aren’t into politics need to focus more on the policies of each party and not necessarily the personalities. This administration is a disaster for the average working person and the less fortunate. And the devastating affects will be felt for many decades.

Who knew that voting for the Republicans who have been so transparent about not caring about taking away our freedoms and raising our taxes and cutting our access to education and health care would end up destroying the internet?
