honestly, I don't know what I'd like to see from Nintendo's next console. Maybe just better marketing, because I feel that was the true cause of the Wii U's struggles. And just upgraded hardware.

Beware, installing any mod, even something as innocuous as auto-save, disables achievements, if that matters to you....
The water physics is going to lead to a lot of really cool clips. I can't believe they made this game with such a small team.
Make sure to hit up the steam workshop and grab the mod that allows you to build on all 25 tiles, instead of just 9
Windows 8.x is the worst thing I've ever seen in an OS, and I've used GeOS. I really hope that 10 is the improvement they say it is.
I dont ever feel shitty for killing them. Theyve no sense of due process. I steal a car and raise my wanted level to one, they shoot first and ask questions later. No rights, no arraignment, no hearings or trial. Screw em. :)
I'm not sure the concerns of potentially stifling creative work apply when "sexy female enemy" "helpless woman" are extremely common trophes. That is to say, she's arguing for less of the status quo...and if the response is "BUT MY CREATIVITY," well...hate to break it to the developer, but those specific ideas aren't…
The fact that Kotaku is that way, as a member of a decidedly leftist, pro-feminist media conglomerate, proves the point of how uniquely toxic gaming culture is, especially with regards to women. Their very presence here disproves their whole (already invalid) argument that everything online is toxic and gaming is no…
Can't anti-social justice people just go to their own video game websites and whine about us instead of throwing hissy fits and bothering us here?
Dude, you're on Kotaku. There are so many men here angry at women for threatening their power, of course they're gonna clump together and start screaming.
Out of random curiosity... Would anybody out there be genuinely upset if there were more female characters in video games than men?
As little as Sarkeesian mentioned her critics, I sensed that a lot of the start of her talk was designed to address their criticisms. First, she seemed to be challenging claims that she thinks games make people do things. "When I say that media matters and has an influence on our lives, I'm not saying it's a 1:1…
This is so great. I love that we're moving towards implementation of the criticism. It's totally necessary to point out what's broken, but it's also very important to talk about how the broken things can be fixed. Implementation is critical, and I wish we talked about it more.
The fact that this has any stars at all is so deeply and profoundly concerning to me.
She's been warped and distorted into a toxic individual by others. She's just fine.
Oh look, someone questioning Anita's "gamer cred" right off the bat.
I'm gonna make a bingo sheet for all of the various Tropes vs Anita In Gaming that GG and its offshoots have spawned and mark them off as the comments for this article come in. That's 1 down.
She said she'd written Gamergate off, that there was no convincing them. She wanted to reach "fence-sitters," people "who are like, 'I'm interested, and I don't know if I agree with you, and I'm curious.'"
I'm not a GTA player myself, but I feel like that if I were, I would rather this be the scenario than them releasing an unfinished and broken game.
Release a game with bugs - gamers get mad
"seems like it became an awful slog a long time ago… I sure gave up a while back." "That series has been treading water for years."
