Oddly enough, the cannabalism scene in Doomsday, when you watch them strip the flesh. Mind you, I was already getting pissed off that such a promising movie trailer was falling into such stupid territory, so I was extra disgusted.

You can play air hockey against a robot at the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh. We’re members, I have played the robot several times, losing. Once I got a lucky shot into its goal and just protected my own goal for my single win against it. (Video isn’t mine, just found video of the robot at the CSS on YouTube)

I don’t care about the waiver. These are test pilots doing what test pilots do - I feel terrible for the loss of life, but this is why they have been testing in the first place. Better this sort of thing happens NOW than with the first batch of tourists!
My guess is an ancient impact, the heat involved did some chemistry, and the rings are from the erosion of the crater.

Revolution was an insult to Science Fiction. Terra Nova was an insult to science fiction. You can do FAR worse than Falling Skies. What it has ALWAYS had going for it was the short seasons.
