This sorts it out. I was confused about this movie. In the "Summer movie" stuff I've read it said this movie was about aliens, but the trailers on Comedy Central have had absolutely nothing about aliens in them. I was wondering if I was confusing two similar movies.

If it's fiction, who cares? Don't we have REAL monsters out there who deserve that ire? Isn't ire directed at an author who wrote a rape scene a little misdirected?

Oddly enough I had never seen Little Miss Sunshine before and checked it out of the library last week. I enjoyed it. Not knowing the pageant dance made it quite a surprise.
