Kill them humans!

I really liked this one, as did my kids. It's all about big numbers.

The show was passable enough to watch, for me. I was surprised when it wasn't cancelled, though.

when my kids asked what I would do with a portal gun, I told them I would put a portal over the toilet and a portal by the side of the bed so I could wake up and pee without having to walk to the bathroom. Grossed 'em out good. :D

I call foul. Those guys would have had to paint the house with moon rock paint, and I'll bet the siding on the house is a non-portal-supporting texture.

You do pee with your cock.

House Flashforward: "Remember the Future"

This a million skajillion times. IS YOUR TV SET OR COMPUTER MONITOR VERTICAL? NO!

Due to his style, I could only take his work a few short stories at a time before needing a break. However his ideas were simply wonderful. Thank you, Ray.

Interesting. At 4 miles per AU, voyager 1 (at 120 AU) is within 480 miles of where we think it is. In comparison - going with a circle 420 miles in diameter that's like putting teeny little Voyager somewhere in an area the size of Texas and Alaska put together.

There was a short story I read once about a man awakened from cryo sleep, and there was a man he didn't recognize by his bedside. He tried to ask the man questions about the future but the man wasn't very talkative. When he tried to get up on his elbows the man at the bedside told him to take it easy on his heart.

We have ample evidence that our subjective reality can be loopy.

Who's to say all those intelligent life forms out there have hands? We're really lucky that it was us - the ones who had tree-climbing limbs that could be used to fashion tools. We may be the race to uplift the handicapped.

Because stopping WWII, for example would screw up everyone's birth post 1930. You'd have 60 million people who never died (combat, illness, genocide), marrying and having kids with people who originally married other people, never visiting the foreign lands and impregnating a particular woman, and all those new,

"oh, and how the hell could 3d ever be plot important?"

This is my feeling. 3D is nice to see, but until they can make the 3D plot-important, there's no point.

Too early for "Blood on the highway". This would be "Blood on the dirt".

somebody watch Carl - he's bound to wander off any second now.

BUT THE COAL STILL BURNS.

Win.
