Uhm. Guys. I like Lupin III a lot. I really do. But I know its history. No one can complain about ripping off Lupin. It doesn't take Herlock Sholmes to realize ripping things off is why Lupin III exists in the first place.

The only thing I can add to this is that sometimes, being an American, I know I take certain things for granted. Stories like this remind me that I should look at my upbringing as a gift and be grateful that I can say or do the things I can say or do without fear of reprecussion. Even I never hear about anything else…
The Marvin the Martian one wasn't THAT bad. The Hong Kong Phooey one, on the other hand, says to me that Alex Zamm is a criminal and should only be allowed to use a computer under armed supervision.
I'm utterly convinced that NBC is run by people who wouldn't watch television if their faces were on fire and there was a special about fire extinguishers and how to use them, yet they still think they know what people want to see.
