It's this pervasive belief that the Bible is immutable. Some people believe this means literal completely missing two things: 1) It's said to be the LIVING Word, which means the language used means something different from era to era and 2) It's still written and translated by men and in most cases deeply flawed men

I seem to have read somewhere that Alex Kingston would be unavailable for NCIS for longer than an episode due to scheduled filming in the UK for Doctor Who. Could have been a joke from the NCIS guys.

"I feel like I live in a world made of cardboard. Always taking constant care not to break something. To break someone. Never allowing myself to lose control, even for an instant or someone could die. But you can take it, can't you big man? What we have here is a rare opportunity for me to cut loose and show you just

And in fact Doom did win once, using the powers of Killgrave to peacefully take over the world. And he was BORED by it so he turned off his machine and everything went back to normal. Doom in effect defeated himself.

The Wizard from FF is a far more inept genius than Doom. No one argues that if he weren't crazy, some of his plans could concieveably work but between his ego and his (now acknowledgedly) deteriorating mind and his insistence on teaming up with Hydro Man and Paste Pot Pete, he's never going to win. At least Doom and

That's not even the first one. Track down the Corman one that never got officially released. It makes the Fox ones amazing by comparison.

Where do you live that someone puts a gun to your head every time you go online?

It's not an attack when you're aggressively being an idiot.

He's Jean Michael Picard. Boom. Mind blown.

I was already loaded. Same time next week, Rob? I have it on authority that I give Dr. Abraxas time becomes something the likes of which man should not know.

Well good, after most of last week maybe I can handle elevenses. (And HELLOOOO ROB from TR)

I'm more curious about what that would look like alive.

I think it's a little more that the concept of making ANY further adaptation of Akira leaves everyone a little cold. The first film is pretty damn groundbreaking and even when you figure the manga wasn't finished yet, it is nearly perfect by itself.

Or the Solid Snake. It would be pretty easy to hide in a lab under a cardboard box when no one can stand the smell.

I think most of the old posters were going through withdrawal. FFF is all we could talk about over there for the last few weeks. It's good to have the horror back.

Let's not blame Oatmeal, Tesla for the most part was getting no love for the things he did come up with. It isn't really the Oatmeal's fault that the hyperbole on the internet blew the history out of proportion. Edison had a habit of stealing anyone he could.

A lot of the problem here seems to be getting his hands on a base figure to customize. On the other hand, he could customize the discoverer of fire and the inventor of the wheel from a Worf figure. That's probably why no Galileo or Heddy Lamarr.

Anytime anyone mentions trepanation, I just think of Egon Spengler swearing it would have worked if Peter Venkman hadn't stopped him. (was it Peter or Ray?)

These pics remind me of the old Iron Manual(s?) that Marvel put out years ago. I know I had at least one.

The thing I always got from Spider-Man is that he never considered himself motherless. It's become more evident in recent years, but as far as he's concerned, May is his mother and apart from those first few years, always has been.
