I call B.S., Ford tags their customer special orders as green window stickers. It is very obvious. When we bought our F-150, it was a special customer order that didn’t get picked up. We picked it up off the lot. The salesman had to get clearance to sell it from the manager on shift.

What a trash take. The only thing a crossover does that this doesn’t is have dry cargo space. And there’s a nice looking camper top in the images above that fixes that. Otherwise, this is an Explorer (crossover) with a bed.

The problem that does exist is that console mounted shifters get in the way of access to storage, cup holders, phone chargers, and audio connections for no reason on a vehicle that can’t be equipped with a manual trans. A knob takes up less real-estate, is easier to position conveniently, and is out of your way.
