$19k for a 2000 Z28.
Put that four cylinder in a Sonic.
Turbo engines use more fuel with boost!
Exactly, some nerd drove by me in the middle of the day with his light bar on while I was walking the dog. My first thought was to pick up a rock and throw it at his head. I instead managed to give him a sarcastic salute.
There were only 50 350s offered in 1986, none with A/C and all autos.
The rebates usually run from end of Nov through Feb. If you wait until Feb it might be hard to find what you want. I bought my car in Salt but it had been inventory out of Denver, Ken Garff bought a ton of Denver’s inventory because they weren’t actively using the rebates.
I remember seeing this for the first time at a car show, it awesome and supercharged. I still kind of want one.
Check in with your dealer in November, there will be $5,000-$7,000 in incentives available. They are awesome cars, I daily drive an Abarth. I have put on 30K miles in a year a half and I love it. You get used to the crappy seating position and non-telescoping steering wheel. Get a non-muffled CAI and enjoy the turbo…
As a kid, my nighbor had one of these and a son my age. My family had a Z28 Camaro, also Red. We constantly battled about which car was better. Since we were stupid 9-year old kids I think the argument came down to which speedo had a higher limit, our Camaro read 88 MPH and so I lost the argument.
You would think that this would have been ended long ago.
