Why not expand the V-Rod’s Revolution motor to a new Road King? The Screamin’ Eagle VRXSE Destroyer has 165 freakin’ horsepower from its 79 cubic inches! The 104 cubic inch Road King motor only has 83hp. That’s 1hp shy of twice the power!

Awesome job other Pilot Man.
I’m not a Beemer/Italian bike snob. I’m just a regular standard rider with some basic engineering/mechanical understanding.
My first bike was an ‘85 XJ Maxim - 4 carburetors of fun. Then a used V-Strom which truely is one of the very best all around bikes. A used Bonnie, a fun retro bike but not too rewarding performance-wise. These are all bikes that I rode every day to and from work even in the occasional rain and snow here in Salt Lake.
Great vid with Leno.
A Bimmer and a Beemer!
I find it interesting how Harley partners with Porsche to develop a new V twin, the bike is an engineering success but very few HD riders actually choose to buy it. Those same riders end up going with a Fat Boy or Road King that each cost more but are worse motorcycles in every measurable way.
A Harley we can all agree with! Too bad most Harley Riders have continued to choose antiquated pieces of crap when buying new.
double
That explains the used MINI I bought.
I bought the $1,000 motorcycle (85 XJ Maxim) with a freshly painted tank, new tires, and new seat. It ran okay, I ended up tearing it apart anyway to get it to run perfect. I cleaned and synced the carbs, added fresh brake pads and fluid, played swap the puck game to adjust the valve clearances, and I traced a starter…
I had destroyed my engine. Rookie mistake!
Same reason I’ve started flying ultralights and paramotors, why live your life without enjoying it? A life worth living is a life worth dying for.
Did your slides all drop down nice and quick afterwards?
Well, it sounds like that motor lived a long and happy life. Good luck with the ebay motor and may all your bolts be accounted for after assembly.
