I actually didn't mind the strategy aspects of Brutal Legend. I kinda even enjoyed it; it made the battles feel like actual battles. What I DIDN'T like about the game was the story...or rather specifically the world building and the slope it slid down. Act I against the pink haired punk rockers was great; the game

Actually, I just realized that it's already been over twelve years since Sonic's first improbable appearance on a Nintendo console. That means that Sonic has officially been on Nintendo systems...

Now playing

What I want to know tho is: CAN WE PLAY AS TINGLE?!

Filthy casuals

My heart demands...

I'm going to play a bit of devil's advocate here. I think the operative word in Mr. Inafune's conception has been and remains "innovation. " But of what kind of innovation is he speaking of? Perhaps it's not the game itself, but the means of operating outside the traditional orthodoxy of the Japanese (and for that

GameCube controller is best console controller. As dumb as it looks it feels so right for some reason.

Correction, nintendo is in the stone age in many aspects, killing what made older series good, thinking stuff like a story or a plot don't matter, or that people want the old gameplay mechanics to be dumped for newer shitty ones.

For me, it's like songs. I can love a song, but eventually, if it's overdone, I get a bit tired of it.

I'm an absolute Pixar nut but they've been disappointing over the last few years. Obviously the holy-shit streak of Ratatouille, Wall-E, Up and Toy Story 3 was not going to last forever, but I didn't expect such an abrupt and steep fall.

Yeah and GTA didn't have anything to do, Last of Us was the worst game I've ever played, Skyrim had the most lackluster open world I've ever seen, Final Fantasy VII is overrated, etc etc

Calling the creationist/evolution exchange a "debate" is insulting to actual debates everywhere.

It's not a debate. It's one person with facts and evidence and data explaining to another person why they are wrong, as that second person plugs their ears and screams "I'M NOT LISTENING LA-LA-LA-LA-LA!" as loudly as

What I was expecting: Action-packed romps through alien worlds using Nintendo's resident anthropomorphic badass, interrupted by exciting Arwing segments.

I disagree. The on-rails sections were great, and the on-foot missions were acceptable so long as you were using the dual stick control scheme.

"How to fix Nintendo" articles were never even that good anyway. It was just the only thing we had back then.

I've grown up, moved on to bigger things. "Square Enix is Dead," "The Vita has no Games," and "PS4 vs. Xbox Comparisons" will keep my going through this generation.

Nintendo articles will be fine. Worse comes to worse they can pull the trump card and review a core Pokemon game on the Wii U.

Dear god what have I done.....

When it's done it's done. Untell then...
