These prices are insane. Obviously the gold one is insane, that's fine, that's the point. But $550 for the steel? And $350 for the "cheap" sport one with goofy colorful rubber straps.

I mostly agree with all the people complaining about this. However, this does effectively give HBO the chance to try it out on a smaller scale, work out problems, and better gauge demand, before rolling it out to everyone. As long as the exclusivity is short term, this could be fine.

That was my immediate thought too. It seems too easy. But I'm confident now that what you say is correct.

That would work if the sentences all said "at least X of these statements are false", but they say "exactly". If 1-5 are true and 6-10 are false, then there are five false statements. But statement 1 says exactly one is false, which is not the case, so statement 1 can't be true.

I'm not sure. Honestly I don't know the details of how that stuff works, sorry.

I had considered looking for a charge only cable like that, since the issue is with my cars built in USB, and I suspect it's because with the data going through its limiting itself to 500mA.

I think most phones these days are more like 2.5 to 3 amp hour batteries. But it's my understanding that the phone will limit how much current it's actually accepting. So if it's a 3 amp hour battery, then per your equation it should charge with 1.5A. So if you plug in a 2A charger, it won't charge any faster than if

Yeah, your phone will likely charge faster. If it's too much for your phone to handle, then your phone will limit how much energy it actually let's in. So your phone might not actually "use" the full 2A, but it won't hurt anything.

I was having some issues getting my phone to charge in my car and was hoping there was a way to see the output from the charger. This is perfect, thanks!

Your charger should be marked with the output it's supposed to have. Chargers that came with a phone you'll likely see somewhere from 500 to 1000mA, ones that came with a tablet could be as high as 2000mA.

Hmm... this one costs 2.99 and I don't see any way to try a demo or anything. I'll consider it.

I have not, I'll give it a try! Thanks!

The paginated picture-centric interface on Android is pretty good! I have no real complaints about the Android UI actually. I'm not a fan of the way it works on PC, but that's definitely just my opinion.

I'm an Android user, and I don't see News ify in the Play Store. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Feedly. It's just so... Mediocre. And filled with bugs. And missing features. But I've yet to find a better alternative, and I can't live without RSS. So I use it, dozens of times a day. And hate every second of it.

Although it's true that the season gives us more natural light in the mornings... Daylight saving time makes us lose an hour of light in the morning. Sure eventually the lengthening day will cancel it out, but for the next few weeks we will have far less light in the morning then we have had for the last few weeks.

Except that with HBO Now coming out soon, instead you'll probably end up just canceling your Comcast HBO Go only plan and getting HBO Now directly through HBO.

Yep, that's why it's so important that HBO is finally making a standalone streaming service. You pay HBO, Comcast the ISP has to let that content through because of net neutrality (assuming that things keep going well for net neutrality).

If you have cable anyways, you might as well do HBO through that, so you can watch it on TV and online. This is good for Comcast, since they presumably get a cut.
