From the interviews I’ve heard, he sounds like a whiny asshole. All he can say is “Well, the CEO got a 400% raise”. Why should UAW workers get a 4 day workweek? “Well, the CEO got a 400% raise”. Why should UAW workers get a 400% raise? “Well, the CEO got a 400% raise”.  On and on.  Well, guess what.  You’re not as

no, but we were ignorant of how ignorant our fellow citizens were.

It at least didn’t jam its idiocy up in everyone’s face and blow raspberries.

Influencers and Tiktok. The dumbing of America.

I agree, it’s a pretty simple concept that in a negotiation like this one you don’t have ALL of the leverage. If the unions can threaten to strike, then the companies can threaten to take their business elsewhere. That’s just the two way road that we’re on.

But that’s a risk too and a potential PR nightmare. Take a look at what happened to Bud Light. I don’t think the core customers would be much different, and would be an invitation for Foreign car companies to swoop in and save the day sort a speak.

Yea I think Pasadena even did this several years back, came with barricades and cops would look the other way, and these jackasses still didn’t want it.

They wont, they just wont.  They COULD pool together and rent a drag strip or small track.  Iriwindale is ight there and there is another drag strip not far.  They could go a legal/safe route, but no they do it this way because they WANT to not because they have no other options.

I realize it’s a negotiation so the initial ask can look like a serious overreach, but the UAW demands are:

Never mind that Cramer’s probably overlooking NAFTAv2 issues there, but who’s going to buy the damn cars then?

You can’t move an entire assembly line overnight

It’s those Northern elites. They’re the reason life is so hard for blue collar working class Southerners. Not Republicans in red states who gut assistance programs and vote down infrastructure bills, or turn a blind eye to megacorps who silence labor movements or offshore jobs abroad and incorporate out of the Cayman

“I believe that we should still choose what we buy and not stifle and force us on what we buy”

difference is, most liberals will call him a fucking idiot while if he was a republican most other republicans would cheer him on

I like these types of stickers because they are a great indicator of what kind of person they are.

Rethuglicans may have the vast majority of the stupids but clearly not 100%. Fucking. Moron.

Hmm... this seems like a great opportunity for California to create a public insurance option at cost.

Obvious retaliation is obvious.

Because I’m sure that unsupervised, they will raise rates only enough to cover increased costs.

I mean, we can all move to Austin. Oh wait... that’s also super expensive now...
