No, this is obviously a ‘meanwhile, in Australia’ joke.

I hadn’t been following, so from the outside the Jeep looked okay. Then I checked David’s posts about it, and- Holy crap, that thing’s rust held together by force of will. It’s been fossilized. I imagine him hopping in, looking to his right, and seeing a Trilobite riding shotgun. “Next left, Dave.” It says, flipping…
This article is a breath of fresh air. Thank you for it.
Oh well. Of course I wanted the story here to be one of outstanding success, vindicating my rose-coloured glasses and blowing a raspberry at the foibles of the modern industry, but I’ll happily take a game that stumbles due to overenthusiasm. That’s better than another safe FPS or Sandbox any day of the week.
Besides,…
I was going to post something here, but saying anything critical of the game would have jumping down my throat for the rest of the week, so I’ll just leave it at this.
You’re right: ‘Eli’ doesn’t have an r in it!
It’s gone now, but for a while there the preorder page itself showed you just how eager they are:
LEXUS SAFETY INFORMATION: Left rear tyres may spontaneously combust when in the presence of press photography.
Maybe I’m being too sanguine about this, but I see the system working about as well as it possibly could: VW did a shitty thing and now they’re being nailed to the wall for it as an object lesson. Would I like a world where nobody ever lied or cheated? Yes, but that’s never going to happen, so the best we can do is…

Which appears to have been a wise move. People seem much fonder of X number of brilliantly-animated conversations than X2 ‘that’ll do’ conversations.
QUOTE | “It’s simply a quantity vs quality trade-off.” - Jonathan Cooper defended Mass Effect: Andromeda’s animations, pointing to the relative simplicity of animation for a scripted, linear game like Uncharted 4 compared to more open-ended RPGs like the original Mass Effect, both of which he worked on.
“Humanity exterminated within thirty minutes, or your civilization back.”
Ah, Flanderization: When you wake up one morning and wonder if your favourite character just had a lobotomy or if he’d always been this way and you’d somehow never noticed.
Finally. If they’d just done this in the first place I’d have paid for it.
Oh, I think you know!
Ah, so the budget on UI design was precisely $0.
I wish failure on Daesh.
This is great news! For some reason I’ve always found Planescape: Torment much harder to get running than I have the original Baldur’s Gate games, so this Enhanced Edition is far more of a necessary purchase for me.
I’m all about collecting ass-hardware.
