When this was first announced, I had no idea why they put a 2017 release window on it. It was so obvious from Day 1 that it wasn’t going to come out this year. I don’t understand why so many developers do this.

I can’t wrap my head around the whole Destiny 1.5 thing. Why would you expect a sequel to not resemble the original? How different is it supposed to look? Why aren’t there people on Splatoon 2 or Titanfall 2 articles going “Wahhh, this looks like [Game] 1.5!”

The PC version doesn’t have a firm release date, but once all three versions are out, it’s going to be tough to decide which version to stick with.

This Article is not correct. The licensing was not stopped because mp3 is obsolete (although it might well be), but simply because all patents on the codec have expired. Since no one owns the rights to mp3 now no one can license it.
