This qualifies as a news story? This really is the greatest witch hunt in American hiscoco.
No, I think we both decided this one was too obvious.
Jason, please stop delaying games.
When this was first announced, I had no idea why they put a 2017 release window on it. It was so obvious from Day 1 that it wasn’t going to come out this year. I don’t understand why so many developers do this.
Oh no way. So let’s see. This means it’ll get announced for May and slip one more time to late June or early July.
Gundam Blight Ganon: Scourge of Vah Ramirez
I can’t wrap my head around the whole Destiny 1.5 thing. Why would you expect a sequel to not resemble the original? How different is it supposed to look? Why aren’t there people on Splatoon 2 or Titanfall 2 articles going “Wahhh, this looks like [Game] 1.5!”
The PC version doesn’t have a firm release date, but once all three versions are out, it’s going to be tough to decide which version to stick with.
Here’s my big question: Do players of Destiny 1 have any way of receiving their “good boy, you played Destiny 1" rewards on the PC version?
I not a fan either. I think it’s idiotic in a game like this where exploration is temporarily restricted as you play. Unless the player has god level playing skills and never dies, taking any note of a temporarily inaccessible area is useless. As much as I love innovation and developers trying new ideas, some ideas…
Don’t forget “retro” and misappropriated “8-bit” even though the visuals look somewhere between the 16-bit and 32-bit (2D) eras. :P
I’m not a huge fan of the randomly generated levels fad that’s been going on. As you mention in the article, the world’s are nowhere near as detailed. They tout that it makes games infinitely replayable, but I’d rather have a playthrough of memorable handcrafted levels over multiple randomly generated playthroughs.
You forgot pixel art.
Dark MetRoguevania. I’m coining that one right now.
Gotta hit all those hashtags. And definitely don’t use the game’s name in the article’s title.
Metroidvania. Roguelike. Souls name drop. Early Access. Steam.
You sir, just earned a hearty laugh from me!

I fished a couple replicas of the Korok leaf out of my gutter last weekend.
