If you have dry skin it’s not a bad idea to moisturize at night. Theoretically moisturizing the skin “preserves” it. It doesn’t have to be a “night cream” which is just a marketing phrase. You can use whatever lotion you use in the mornings, or some kind of oil like rosehip, jojoba, maracuja, almond, etc, which can

I tried the De-Slick one once and really didn’t like it. Went back to regular All Nighter, it’s a good product, you may really like it.

HIGHLY recommend the ColourPop eyeshadow pots if you haven’t tried them. I don’t know if they would irritate sensitive eyes, though. Maybe stay away from the ones that have “glitter” in the description.

I used to wash my hair every day because I just had to and it would look horribly limp otherwise (and I would get terrible scalp build up on the crown of my head that only came out with baking soda). Assuming you haven’t tried this already, I’d recommend a powder formula dry shampoo applied to the roots with a brush

I like the UD setting spray. Definitely spray it before applying mascara (and maybe even before applying liquid eyeliner) because it can make the mascara run. It’s not like, a can’t live without product, but it makes a slight difference. They sell a small bottle for $14. You could also just spray your face with rose

The Nars eye primer in the wand is just as good as UD Primer Potion, so maybe that would work better for you. Or you could go a different route and try a long-wear cream eyeshadow as your base, like MAC Painterly paint pot, Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barely Branded (this one is fairly metallic), or ColourPop eyeshadow

Whenever I watch Step Brothers or her episodes on 30 Rock I’m like good god, woman.

Ashley had been my favorite for most of the season, but then Kelly kind of edged her out for me. I just found Kelly an enjoyable person and I love a flashy jump suit. In the end I figured they would pick Ashley because maybe (hopefully) they were thinking a plus line could really sell. It was a good call, I think.

I mean, I do, too. I’m sure they are nasty. But I find just being able to swatch them on my arm helpful enough. I rarely put a tester to my face.

The NYX displays often have them built in to the structure, and I love them for it.

I hate that the drugstore doesn’t have testers (some displays do), but I also hate to find products that people have obviously dipped their hands into, even though I know why they did it.

Yeah, several do. Returning at Walmart can be somewhat of a hassle but returning at CVS or Bed Bath and Beyond (Harmons) is no big deal.

I always loved her voice, too. Not even her singing, but just her speaking voice. Accented or not. It was like, commanding but soothing.

According to the webz she’s not really in talks to come back. I really wish she would! I liked the way she played the femme fatale, almost like she didn’t realize she was one.

Did you see Away from Her? I think the hair is doing work but, still, HOW?

Another person said Rebecca Hall, too. She has such a remarkable face that doesn’t need makeup to make it so. Not that anyone *needs* makeup, but some people just start out with a more unique face.

I loooooooved her in those movies and around that time. She’s like so beautiful you can get jaded and forget how beautiful she really is.

All day, every day.

If this were the body edition... Jamie Lee Curtis would take it for me, cuz DAMN, Doris!

I wish there were more older women in the comments. Mary Steenburgen’s work is catching up to her now but she looked better in her 50s than she ever did.
