If you press hard you can make little indentations in the skin to see where you’ve zapped already. But by the time you circle around the leg the first indentations will be gone. I always start right along the tibia bone so when I come back around I know where to stop.

Yeah, generally I get stylists who chit chat while they’re doing the initial crop to cut off my ends, but get quieter once they get into the layering work. I’m cool with that. But I used to have a great stylist who could just talk the whole way. Mostly about herself which I don’t even mind, if someone is interesting I

In another thread it looks like Jia insinuated that she does not consider (the majority of) Jez commentators to be educated, humorous, or able to recognize satire. So I guess the joke was “let’s see how many of our stupid readers will fall for this.”

I enjoy a good satirical piece but this was more like an inside joke between staff members of which the readers are the butt... or something.

I do think the skin looks very nice here and the simple way you did your eyes looks lovely.

It’s kind of like a troll piece. Thanks but there are enough trolls in the comments. Don’t purposely troll your readers.

Nah I think you’ll be okay. Sometimes it can smart like if someone snapped you half-heartedly with a hair tie. It’s never burned me. But you know, always take precautions, blah blah blah.

Oh yeah, you’re perfect for it. If you get one my advice would be to go up to the highest level of zapping asap. Start at like, level 3 to make sure it doesn’t burn you and then go right up to 5. Level 5 is where you really see results.

Awesome, thanks. I mean it has to make some difference right? I find coarse hair is where it works best.

Ok good to know thank you.

You have to be patient and diligent, but it definitely works. It works best on coarse hair and if the contrast between hair color and skin color is great (so light skin with dark hair). It doesn’t work as well on downy hair (like what you probably have on your tummy) but you could still try. The best thing about it is

Yes, I’ve heard pulling out hair at the root can warp the root and cause the hair to grow back weirdly/more stubbornly or something.

Agh, talk about #trapped.

Agree with starlilies and I think it’s pretty established that the fear you described is a myth.

God I hate it when people are loud-drunk on the train. I’ve never had a real problem and usually I’m just afraid they’re going to barf everywhere, but it’s always kind of like, what if he singles me/my friends out for some reason and tries to start a conversation that escalates into slurs. Obviously you can get up and

I hate to pay big bucks for cleansers, too (because they just go down the drain), but most drugstore cleansers are soapy kinds, and if they aren’t soapy (like Neutrogena Extra Gentle) they aren’t formulated to remove makeup. So I had to turn to high end. In the end it’s like well okay, this is a staple product in my

It was kind of a psychological adjustment at first but the Clinique one rinses clean for me. The Ole H one I found did not rinse clean, but people with dry skin might prefer that leftover oily coating because it’s like an extra layer of moisturizer.

Yeah, I find that it takes a week or so and then if I see tiny whiteheads on my forehead, I know it’s clogging my pores. Good luck!

You would probably like it, then! I think if your routine is working, don’t change it, but you could always go to a Sephora or beauty store that carries Ole Henriksen and ask for a sample.

It’s an oil like substance that doesn’t actually contain any oils. It doesn’t have many ingredients. They also make a cleansing “milk” and “balm” that go by the same name. The milk I guess is like a thin lotion consistency. The balm is probably just as good but the reason I’ve stuck with the oil is because having the
