They will rant about how they won’t settle for anything less than a hot chick under age 25 in the same breath that they rant about how shallow women are. The lack of self-awareness is really something else.

I think there’s probably a lot more traction in preventing men and boys from falling into that culture in the first place, and that does require active engagement from other men/fathers/etc. I have three sons, and one of my nightmares is waking up and realizing one of them has fallen into some toxic internet

It would be remiss not to note the role the current regime in the United States has had in fostering incel culture. Gamergate was a watershed moment in mobilizing online misogyny. Some of the key people fanning the flames of online anger associated with that event include Steve Bannon and Milo Yiannopoulos. They

I really think it’s porn.

One quibble here - in Canada, we have a very famous incel rampage that was gun based back in 1989. 14 women killed, 14 others wounded in what is called the “Montreal Massacre”. I guess this killer didn’t call himself incel, but his attack was because of anti-feminism. He walked into the class at Ecole Polytechnique,

On the other hand, though, I want to know in what universe is it unbelievable that everyone wants Walton Goggins.

It’s easy to believe that abortion is murder if your anti-abortion politician dad would make damn sure only you had access to one if you got pregnant via rape.

Walton Goggins, how could you? Go back to being a handsome ne’er do well!

When the media was lauding Kelly for being the “grown up” in the White House, I would say no, he’s right where he wants to be and quite comfortable. Sure, Trump embarrassed him with some of his foibles, but Kelly basically was fine with Trump’s policies and did nothing to thwart them. It’s nice to be proven right.

The entire republican platform is based upon creating ways to funnel taxpayer money onto the balance sheets of private corporations.

So it sounds like he acknowledged in their conversation that he should have contacted her in advance. Classic “better to ask for forgiveness than permission”. So much entitlement behind that way of thinking.

Apparently Biden wanted to announce his presidential run from Charlottesville, but many city officials felt like it was using the town as a prop. I guess this was his plan B.

Joe Biden’s many personal and policy failures should make him ineligible to be president.

But people are too lazy to look into those things, and they still believe that the whitest man in the room is the best one to lead us, so they’ll say he’s our only chance to defeat Trump. What a world.

The primary is full of young yet experienced and eminently qualified candidates while the centrists supporting Biden as our One True King are like “it’s just a little gropey, it’s still good, it’s still good!!!”

And he is so publicly gaffe prone, it is not hard to oppo research him. For all the woke Charlottesville sentiments he states in the video, he  his the type of white guy who thinks calling Barack Obama an “articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy” was a compliment.

You can just feel the electricity in the air.

My dream is a world without rapists and harassers

I grew up in the mid-west, and this font makes me nostalgic for big industrial murals, train stations with art deco curves and architectural features built out of iron. Very specifically, it reminds me of Union Station in Cincinnati which went from low usage shell in 1971 to a vibrant natural history museum.

“Their house is not your storage locker and if you really cared about your possessions, you’d have brought them with you ...”

With all due respect, if this is satire, it’s very poorly done. Most readers of this site are educated, bright, and quite humorous. If this was even a moderately well-written satire piece, more readers would have realized it.
