It’s pretty much all commercial radio - one big sausage fest. The best chance for women is LPFM,(low power FM) and in non-profit radio there aren’t many paid positions. I’m the manager of an LPFM station.

Commercial radio is a boys club. Most radio execs are men, most station managers are men, most djs are men. 

I’m pretty sure it will involve guillotines. 

There would be if she was even slightly self-aware. 

I was tangentially involved in an event that she spoke at. Calling her needy is an insult to the needy. She is an egomaniac with an inferiority complex, who doesn’t consider others as she plows through the world shrieking “me, me, me.” Everything - every single thing is about her. 

Let’s not ignore the racism that is inherent in this story. Black guy works = bad. Black guy doesn’t work = bad. Those fuckers aren’t doing stories about Scott Baio not having a job.
