Very well said. It's tough to be middle ground, especially since most of us Gizmodenizens are passionate about our tech stuffs. When it comes to tech recommendations, and I've probably steered more people to iPhones even tho I'm all about Android... You just gotta know your audience.

Yep... I don't mind cute codenames as long as there's still some order to it. They all have "version x.x" behind them as well, so I don't see any problem with Android. He probably should have led with a pic of some software that didn't have such organization.

How in the world do you keep up with a 900 FB friend feed? That's like, 25 hours a day of photos of todays lunch, "Off to work!/Home from work!" posts, and "click this link to vote for my child as the cutest!" solicitations.

I think a feature phone is something that can't take software updates. Basically, you buy it and use it as is for the life of the device.
