I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite overall franchise, but it does seem to be the one I replay the most, because it’s real easy to reinstall, and it still plays great to this day. Max Payne 2 in particular might still be the best non-cover based shooter ever made.

Even putting aside the uncanny valley effect of The Polar Express that makes it seem like a chilling horror movie, or maybe an spiritual predecessor to Anomalisa, I was just really disappointed that it lacked the unique charm, the quiet mystique of the original book.
