There’s no fixed rule, but Gen Z is generally born between ‘97 and 2012. So today’s 25 year-olds are elder Gen Z.

I was told as I got older, I too would become a curmudgeon that resents the younger generations. But as a millennial, I gotta say, I’m a fan of Gen Z so far.

LAN parties were glorious, and I damn adulthood for killing them more than broadband.

It’s more mundane than that — rich people are just friends. I’m sure Katy Perry is sincere about her liberal instincts. But she’s probably also a low information voter, and will vote for the familiar. Caruso is part of the same club she is, and as long as he’s pantomiming liberal values, that’s usually enough. Cause

Democrats lost because they focused too much on abortion, or because of defund the police or trans people.

It wouldn’t have been exactly the same, true, but the main argument that Nintendo had for going cartridge over CD-ROM was faster loading, specifically (iirc) because they felt the “big, expansive worlds of Super Mario 64 couldn’t be done from a CD.”

FFVII had the cinematic FMVs, which certainly blew minds, but Mario 64 is what really introduced the larger world to 3D. A game like Ocarina of Time just wasn’t possible on the PSX.

I’m unsure why they thought a movie actor would be able to do a TV show indefinitely.

Well, we’ll see if it’s still possible in three years

The argument is sound. On the other hand, you’ve also invested 48 months into a $9+/month subscription service at a static price that regularly has $1/month deals, so one might think this sunken cost could influence your position that the price will eventually have to go up above $9/month.

He’s gotta mean GamePass, if anything. It’s just too good a deal, especially after the many acquisitions. And at this point, it’s already largely accepted and expected that any online service we’re subscribed to will eventually up the price. Companies know they can get away with it...

I mean...no one said she couldn’t? Why don’t people just be quiet if they don’t know what the fuck is going on.

It feels almost like the desperate move of a politician whose Democratic opponent wiped the floor with him in a debate last week.

If Hale knew Taylor was offered 15k and turned it down then I think she deserves criticism for her acrions.

I believe that Jason Schreier has seen the receipts

But if she KNEW about all of this before being hired, and still took the job anyway? Then she’s a scab, and rough treatment comes with the territory.

I wonder if Will Wright still donates to Republicans, or if MAGA was a bridge to far

Bit of a surprise to see Konami re-entering the core gaming sector with a vengeance.

If the game can run at 30fps on the Series S, there’s no reason why the Series X can’t run it at 60fps at the same settings.
