You forgot his signature move
Preach.
Thank you!
Holy shit, I had forgotten that shit he pulled before the election.
Julian was never a journalist. Ted Kaczynski wasn't journalist because the NY Times published the manifesto, and he was more honest than Julian.
Fair enough. Since I discover intent, I may have overlooked other agents. I was definitely thinking of Manning. Still, the US is a pretty effective prison when it comes to public knowledge. An entity that does this much to hide its actions knowing full well they are criminal/amoral belies the grand intent.
You may not like it, but it is a viable interpretation of the character and it’s been a thing for a few decades at this point, both in comics and in various interpretation, including thr animated series.
Hamish is a wonderful choice but...Jesus Christ, Amazon, the compression on that dogshit twitter clip (and every one I could find on youtube), make it sound AI generated.
Check out his Hong Kong crime thriller “Killzone”. The movie itself is merely ok, but it has one of the best martial arts fights ever put on camera between yen who plays the detective hero and his irl training partner who plays the villain. They fight in an alley baton vs tanto. It’s just amazingly done and you can…
you need to go watch IP Man 1-4. It is on Amazon prime. IP Man 1 has some of the best Donnie Yen fight scenes ever. But every single one of them are amazingly choreographed.
On the plus side, you have a bunch of old Donnie Yen films to catch up with! I recommend Iron Monkey and Hero (although the latter is much more of a Jet Li vehicle, Donnie Yen’s part is brilliant).
Except for pirates. That online community is, and will end up being, the true archivists of media.
A long long time ago
If I were to ever finance one of his ideas, I would want him to work closely with the visual designers and visual directors and stay away from the writer’s room and the head director’s chair.
Don’t get it wet, don’t expose it to sunlight.
I was just re-watching Endgame with my kids this weekend and while I love that character and everything he did with it, they really stuck the landing with his arc. It would dramatically deflate the power of that ending to bring him back.
Damn man, I came to say the same thing. While I have mixed memories of that game, I legit got excited thinking it was coming to a tv adaptation
Same disappointed.
Thank you for linking to the court’s actual ruling.
Which means they’re lifting heavily from Alien.
