The bonus did exist, according to two people with knowledge of what happened, but it came out of the company’s 60%, not the 40% of profits that were meant to go to employees.

It’s because Amazon was offering discounts to prime members who pre-ordered. They got rid of that and the beef was repaired. Pre-ordering Death Stranding was no problem. Pretty sure the current situation is due to supply constraints, beyond Amazon’s control.
Amazon is not accepting pre-orders on the $60 version at the moment, which I take as an indication of tenuous stock.

If you stay in the sweet spot, he’ll just keep spamming the green-flash attack. If you get a bit too close, he pushes you back with the shotgun, so make sure it doesn’t push you so far that you fail to stay in the sweet spot. If he knocks you back with the ranged energy attack? Push forward, into the sweet spot again.…
I lost a few 1-ups in the attempts immediate prior to this one. It’s just a bit of practice, and having the confidence to stick relatively close (and also having the life to just eat some damage). Being overly fearful will drag the fight out too long to complete this particular challenge.
Try not to act overly evasive -- stick to the middle ground like white on rice, and keep double tapping with the super shotgun.
