You need to add basic cooking to the mix. I am astounded by my fellow adults that can't cook something if it doesn't come in a box with instructions. You can save a lot of money if you understand a few basics, and it will take you far.

I'd add basic tool use as well - how to fix a faucet, screw in a screw, saw a straight line, and so on.
