What's truly shocking is that there were 2000+ intoxicated people in the middle of bumfuck nowhere and there was only one reported "sexual assault". I hope that is the absolute truth, but sadly probbaly a few more went unreported. And yet, it is still as good of a record if not better than a lot of bars in

I love this kid. If he isn't a fucking movie star when he gets to California, you're fired California. Go home.

I love this kid!

He was charged with "being way too fucking awesome!"

If it was full of bees, it wasn't empty..it had bees in it

Great article. Unfortunately these comments are really depressing me. So many of these Idiocracy defenders are in fact teetering on the edge of endorsing eugenics, even as they call you ridiculous for suggesting a connection between them.

i'm always correcting people when they say idiocracy is real. i'm all like, blam, flynn effect!

fact is, if people were getting dumber, we, as a society, would be less idiotic. you've got to be really clever to be as idiotic as we are.

Actually, no, I don't agree with that at all (not that you asked me specifically). I don't think "intelligent breeding" has anything to do with it - you've got it backwards. Better living standards, better wages, etc., lead to better education, lead to smarter leaders, which may lead to a better overall world.

Or as XKCD puts it:

Even if the population of intelligent people was greater it wouldn't mean that the world would be a better place. An intelligent person isn't more inclined to be altruistic. There are plenty of intelligent people who are petty and biased little turds out to get what they want at the expense of others.

You(and the movie) are making the assumption that smart people have smart children and dumb people have dumb children. While I'm sure the intelligence of the parents does have an effect on a child's overall development it still is entirely possible for two idiots to produce a genus and vice versa, eugenics would not

He spent too much time going on long monologues in that ridiculous mask and what action sequences he had were run of the mill Kung Fu movie quality...

PineKirk.

I'll raise you one General Grievous with one Mace Windu — a Jedi played by Samuel L. Jackson! And what do we get, a muted performance, bad dialog and zero character development.

Their! The proper term is THEIR!

Lair! The proper term is LAIR!

Now there are three holes. This isn't going to end well.
