Like Spire Blast, it’s clearly a F2P-fest that’s been retrofitted for Apple’s service. It’s like when Amazon pays devs to release games on FreeTime/Kids and forces them to strip the payment mechanic out - the buttons and mechanics are all still there, it just never asks for real cash...

I mean, I’m still grinding loot

You do realise that that is what Sony have *always* done with PS+, even before the PS4? Microsoft were just doing the same...

Faster loading times are a basic illustration of what you can do with a more powerful processor.

Initially, the PS4 was better.

This is my read.

Why? It’s an initial 1-year-only deal with a fixed end date, then Amazon pays the same 30% as everyone else.

The thing is, if enough apps leave Apple’s store the customers that want those apps will leave as well.

They know it’s not the case, but they’re hoping that the groundswell of disaffected kids is enough to get Apple to back down.

For someone who expresses a lack of interest towards Apple, you seem to be spending a lot of time in this thread agreeing with people who like Epic and arguing with people who like Apple.

But Microsoft in no way ‘forced’ people to use Internet Explorer.

Not necessarily. The only result would be Apple possibly allowing side-loading, but like Google and Microsoft (with UWP) they’re going to make it annoying, if not near-impossible, to use - not just from a $$$ POV, but from them maintaining the integrity of the operating system.

the analogy you made breaks down as there really isn’t the illusion of choice with Apple.

It’s not a monopoly because they’re not the only mobile platform in town.

Epic doesn’t run sweat shops. Apple does.

You do realise all the people cheer-leading Epic over this come across as equally cultish?

Surely meat and one veg?!

Hate to be one of those guys, but if you owned it for the Game Gear, it was a significantly more basic and easier game than the Genesis one that is now available in the Aladdin/Lion King bundle.
