That in no-way suggests they're going to offer SAS versions. Some Data Centres likely use cheaper SATA for any less critical backup/DR storage, but front-line stuff is going to be SAS.

This is pure PR guff - 'Enterprise' doesn't *want* an 8TB drive in production because of the huge chance of failure of such a large disk in a parity RAID rebuild process, not to mention the potential recovery time of any rebuilds.
