You’re right about the 3k sticker, I’m one of the guys that sticks them. Older customers especially just expect to see both the stickers and a 3k interval, and we give them what they want.

I can’t do it. I just can’t let one go past 5k. Of course I am surrounded by oil all day long so it’s not an inconvenience for me, but even still.

Slightly off topic, but I think Ford should name whatever replaces the Taurus Thunderbird. And that replacement should be a RWD performance oriented sedan, e.g. Charger.

The C4 was the last case of Vette lust I had until the current generation. I was 19 then and it was nice to have an American car that could run with the European sports cars. Guess I’m finally old enough to have one now. Ironically of course.

Techs hate this. It’s just another in a series of annoyances that I have to get all the way in a car I’m working on to start it just to get right back out. I’m a big guy and all the lifts are 2 point now. That’s a lot of squeezing.

They don’t cost more because it’s a Mercedes, they cost more because they’re an unusual low profile large diameter size. Look them up and then compare them to a comparable tire for another Chrysler vehicle.
