Yup, the Superman is spot-on.

With this and Slender, it looks like it already is...

Not to mention that they are selling to a much larger installed base than GTA4.

Would have enjoyed it more if they didn't mess with the playback speed.

Sony can't be so stupid as to build a device that renders their struggling new handheld obsolete a year after launch, can they?

If that's all you want, you can probably do it yourself trivially with Unity and some models from the Asset Store...

I take it it has been a while since you last watched Toy Story?

Jesus. The description of the setting put me off the game completely, and I didn't even catch on the (rather hamfisted) gender metaphor. Definitely need more coffee today.

I checked out the Wiki page for the setting, and noped the hell out of there. Not touching this game with a ten-foot pole.

I actually had to check my phone to see if there was a facepalm emoji. Alas.

I did, as a matter of fact.

I know in the PC world it is more acceptable to bash religious things than homosexuality

Like the proverbial 600lb gorilla, a car that hits 400kph can cost whatever the hell it wants.

Technically, that would be a "Nintendo S".

It doesn't work like that. For example, in the early 80s an epidemic of shit games almost sank the entire industry. It's not like better models smoothly replace bad models when they don't work; sometimes the crashes are catastrophic.

Not immediately, but eventually; what will start happening soon is that F2P elements start infecting AAA games, starting from multiplayer-oriented titles, and then metastasising to single-player. Valve already has started down this road.

F2P bakes monetization into the game design. This isn't a new phenomenon (coin-op arcade games also had monetization-by-design), but it means that the blessed period during which the best way to monetize a game is to make a great game is coming to an end.

Density

So, closer to reality than most articles in the Daily Mail, then.

That actually sounds reasonable. Personally, I prefer to pay-to-play than to have a shit hat shop, but a per-hour model combined with bulk monthly (or even yearly) rates makes a lot of sense.
