K/DA was a fun spin on it’s own universe.

I think the hard part that competitive Smash players struggle with is the reality that they are actually a very small niche portion of the Smash audience.

No you misunderstand.

Honestly it’s a miracle that Smash even still has a competitive scene given that Nintendo has made it very clear they don’t want it to exist and designed the game in such a way that half the game’s content has to be disabled in order for it to be competitive in the first place.

At least it’s funny if you imagine there being someone in charge of Kotaku yelling at all the writers James Jonah Jameson-style to “Give me more Spider-Man!”

Sorry to spoil it, but the surprise is that right as Sephiroth is about to impale her there is a bright flash of light. It fades to reveal Sephiroth’s face as he struggles to push past something impeding his blade.

but the way Square wants people to say it is the way most people have always said it.

You new or something? The internet typically starts talking about the post-credit scenes in Marvel movies the second someone walks out of the theatre on opening night. Hell, half the time it’s already up on youtube too.

I think the bigger factor to consider is that at 5 years in, the Switch was still the best selling game console on the market whereas at 5 years the N64 had largely already been deemed a pretty big failure and was just biding time for them to get a successor to market.

Pros:

Kinda crazy to think that my daughter who is now in 2nd grade has only known the Nintendo Switch as the “current Nintendo console” for her entire life.

To be be fair Starfield isn’t done yet. Bethesda only makes the first half of their games. Gotta wait for fans to finish the rest.

Well, if Matt Mercer is going to be the new Nolan North / Troy Baker who gets cast in everything to try and leverage his online popularity, at least his voices typically aren’t just his normal speaking voice so it wont get as exhausting hearing the same voice in every fucking AAA game for a decade or so.

Considering this was developed by Sonic Team and and the guys who made Balan Wonderworld I suppose we should consider it some kind of accomplishment that it’s at least mediocre.

In the West, sure. But Toriyama’s not from the West.

Ehhhh. I think Toriyama is honestly pretty great at writing whimisical, adventure-type stories (which this seems to be). The original Dragonball and Sand Land were both pretty great.

Ah yes, if there’s one thing the Dragonball fanbase is known for being vocal about, it’s how badly they wished they had their own version of Muppet Babies.

Third series (if one happens) absolutely has to be the Soma Cruz storyline.

Wow, crazy how fast it got renewed for a second season!

And of course when they say it was “renewed for a second season” what they really mean is “they will release the rest of what was pretty obviously only the first half of the first season.”
