Game Freak and ambitious generally don’t mix very well.

These days it almost feels like Nintendo intentionally drags their feet on developing and releasing things they know the fans want because they know the anticipation of them FINALLY doing a thing drives them into a frenzy and makes for one hell of a marketing tool.

The game’s penultimate conclusion involves your character capturing and gaining control of the creator deity of the universe.

Damn. Saw the headline and jumped right in eager to see how they managed to pull off Triforce Heroes in GB STudio.

That’s the thing though, is that it kind of is for many people.

...Yes? Have you actually played a Zelda game?

They way things stand for now, those types of features don’t matter to the general audience- just the dedicated enthusiasts like us.

I mean, Nintendo will stop seeing 30fps as “acceptable” the day people stop throwing billions of dollars at them in exchange for said 30fps games.

Pokemon barely manages 20fps half the time and still sold a bazillion copies.

In Red/Blue, you could catch Mankey as well as Nidoran (who learns Double Kick) before you even entered Viridian Forest. Both will make quick work of Brock. Also his Geodude and Onix were weak as shit and didn’t even know any rock-type attacks so Butterfree would kick their asses too.

It’s mostly just a meme to say Whitney was hard. A lot of kids did struggle with her back in the day when they went in unprepared to deal with her. Attract RNG Shenanigans + A Miltank that can use Rollout and heal itself made fools of quite a few teams not geared to deal with that.

Still not interested in buying a PS5. (Just bought a Series S a month ago. Mostly for the emulation capabilities. Yeah... I know.)

Here’s a more accurate Top 2 Toughest Gym Leaders in Pokemon list:

In other Pokemon news, Pokemon Luminescent- the Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl fan mod is gearing up for their next major version release which will include every Pokemon from every game up to Pokemon Legends Arceus (The PLA Pokemon are actually already available in the current version.).

Agreed. These will be my go-to versions for replaying V and VI going forward. Best versions of those that have been released (Also, correct me if I’m wrong but VI does still have some of the new content from the GBA version).

Well, the general idea of these pixel remasters is that they are as close to the SNES originals as possible but spruced up with all the modern trappings (higher resolution, widescreen display, animations using modern particle effects) and some nice quality of life updates and bugfixes.

Sorry the article is just a bunch of blank nothing to me.

“I’m gonna go make a bunch of money doing a thing that gets everyone else in trouble”

I’ve been trying to get a C&D from Nintendo to hang up on my wall for years. It’s not as easy as you’d think. Just making a fangame full of stuff Nintendo doesn’t like is only half the battle, it has to garner a lot of attention from the gaming public before they bother sending the ninjas to get you.

Such is often the case with Japanese companies. They play by different rules and hold wildly different positions when it comes to copyright law.
