Never claimed the genshin guy made any distinction (just that a distinction could be made by looking at the specific manga he was clearly referring to) nor did I make any comparison to straight erotica at any point in my comment.

Literally all of that is just unofficial interpretations of the character and none of it is particularly consistent so it’s not like failing to adhere to a specific non-canon version of Mario is really “screwing up” the character.

The cake came out a bit shitty but I think the recipe was solid and I think that if they try again and the cake comes out right next time, it’s gonna be a hell of a good cake.

Friend, it’s 2023. If you paid $80 for a big first-party Sony game and were surprised to find it was more of an interactive cinematic thing than a complex action game, that one’s on you. That’s literally the type of game that’s been driving the Playstation brand for well over a decade.

The New 3DS was pretty much the opposite of what everyone’s asking for in a “Switch Pro” though. The only time they made use of the added power was releasing a small handful of games and some emulated stuff that could ONLY be played on the New 3DS. It added basically nothing to existing 3DS games aside from a few that

Because creativity does not necessarily equate to quality?

I love indie games too, but I’m not gonna pretend that the 6 billion dogshit VNs, mario/castlevania clones, roguelikes and walking sims that make up 90% of the indie scene offer anything even remotely close to the experience of something like God of War.

Fwiw 99% of the gaming population didn’t really give a shit about E3 itself, just the concept of having a week every year dedicated to new video game announcements.

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but a cake made by a shoddy cook with no real understanding of baking is not an “incomplete” product. It’s just a shitty cake.

I think the bigger problem at play here is that all these Smash clones always seem to try really hard to appeal to the- admittedly much noisier online- competitive Smash crowd and always eventually have to face the reality that that’s only a very small fraction of Smash’s audience and the vast majority of players

Thanks, I’ll check it out. I’ve played Crash 4! Its great! I don’t reeeally wanna support Activision either but I have to admit I have a soft spot for Toys For Bob/Vicarious Visions (rip?).

I think the tonal whiplash you’re getting comes from the fact that you probably haven’t checked out any of the manga actually being referred to in either article and are kind of just lumping together all manga with any degree of homoeroticism into one catch-all category.

Haven’t tried any of the newer ones but I played the original on PS1 back in the day and I liked it. If I recall, it was actually developed using Diddy Kong Racing as a foundation (I think there’s an actual DKR track still left in the game or a beta or something?) and I’d consider DKR the best non-Mario Mario Kart so

I think Sonic Racing Transformed was probably the best non-Mario kart racer I’ve played since Diddy Kong Racing. It definitely had it’s own distinct feel, but it felt good!

Lol. Wow. Imagine Rare suing Playtonic Games because Yooka-Laylee was made by the same guys who used to make Banjo for them and used concepts and art similar to their shitcanned Banjo-Threeie project.

Everything the devs have said regarding Zavala and the potential recasting of his voice has been giving off very VERY strong “How can we tell you not to worry about it without spoiling that he’s gonna die and has already recorded all of the remaining lines for the character” vibes.

Looks promising. I really hope it’s good and not “Mario Kart but with way clunkier physics and controls #4385"

Only the Playstation 5 has BLAST PROCESSING capable of rendering characters THIS BIG.

In the US, maybe. In other regions, Netflix is the place for most of the shows people are inclined to want consistent access to (The Office, Friends, Seinfeld, NCIS, etc) and films from a pretty wide variety of distributors. Aside from the occasional breakout hit (Stranger Things, Squid Game, etc) the numbers seem to

You do realize that 99% of the people using Netflix are paying for it to have convenient access to the library of older, non-original shows/movies it has, right?

Smash isn’t a live-service game nor is it intended to be a long-term competitive esports game. The competitive Smash scene is entirely fanmade and barely makes up 1% of it’s total playerbase. With all the other projects Nintendo has on their plate why on Earth would they sit around and devote time and resources to
