The rest of the game was 100% done. I’d really prefer if they didn’t delay a game for some optional extra stuff. That’s literally what DLC is for.

With how soon after release the Kirby update was, it feels much less like “stripped content” and much more like “We can’t get these guys done in time for release so let’s just keep working on them and patch them in afterwards”

You can’t be expected to like everything just because it’s well-made. If it just doesn’t appeal to your tastes that’s fine.
