I’ve always been curious about Dream and it’s eventual transformation into Banjo-Kazooie. It’s really cool to finally see some gameplay depicting that transition.

Really? I find it pretty mediocre. Exploring the game’s world is fun and there’s been a couple good battles so far (about 20/25 hours in) but the story and characters are just so excruciatingly dull and two-dimensional and that’s... kind of a make or break thing in an RPG.

Yeeeeah, about that...

Turns out “Big, expansive, awesome-looking RPG” does not necessarily mean “good RPG”.

I think you’re just taking an overly cynical approach to the matter. Not every aspect of an award show is commercialism. Sure the trailers and ads in the bigger shows are, but a lot of these awards are also about recognizing talent in the industry.

Today’s lesson in GamerSpeak:

Well, the idea is that you don’t own the game because this is a different version of it. It’s running at a higher resolution and has added features.

FF VII employed little to no strategy. Unless repeatedly selecting Attack/best spell/best summon from a menu is your idea of strategy.

Wait... how is this overpriced? Compared to what?

Except that’s not what they did.

“Urban-artist, X-factor” describes literally none of the women I know and I yet I am fairly certain it would take a hell of a lot more than an edgy movie to shake them.

Nah this is just what happens when all the Americans are off preparing for Black Friday/Thanksgiving and all you have to talk to are us Canadian gamers.

As I respect your ability to say “Screw your reasons, I love this game.”

One of the team members involved with the project in question (The Homestuck Adventure game) came out and wrote a lengthy post some number fo months ago. It went into great detail describing their dealing with ToG and particularly (project lead) Andrew Hussie’s attempts to get them to communicate with the rest of the

I do love the King’s Quest games, but I just can’t enjoy this game knowing it exists at the expense of a game Icontributed a whole bunch of money to.

There’s no way I’m letting this go after feeling like I was screwed out of my money by (King’s Quest developer) The Odd Gentlemen. Don’t support the new King’s Quest please. Not even for free.

Shame I couldn’t ever recommend buying or playing it because the developers are a bunch of assholes and it was made largely on funds that were siphoned from at least two unrelated Kickstarters. One of which I donated generously to myself.

I can't tell if you're just really lucky or basically the complete opposite.

Oh believe me, I know PS3 wasn’t any better.

Xbox 360 may have first come out 10 years ago, but I bet there isn't a functioning one out there over 5.

I’m no fan of traditional sports either but I don’t know if I’d say esports is that much better quite yet.
