For a genre that usually has 40 hour games, this might be a breath of fresh air. Remember though, Rainbow Moon was $15, and that game was a 100-hour slog.

I'm not sure you can really call the development "troubled." The developers switched the game from first person to third person, then back to first. Then the game was changed from current gen to next gen. It's not like they didn't know how to make a good game, they just kept having the rug pulled out from underneath…
McDonalds is very concerned about their food being consistent everywhere, so I highly doubt that procedures would be any different in Canada than they are in the rest of North America. Also, designing all those machines, factory methods and safety protocols are really expensive.
That makes sense. Thanks for the explanation.
I'm not an expert in public companies, but if the stockholders are selling their shares, does it really matter if they're selling them back to the company, or to another investor?
Back of the box quotes:
"You'll throw your controller."
"Be prepared to go to bed angry."
"You'll spend all Saturday working through one area."
How about a game that explores Christianity!

Oh, nevermind.
I wish SE would make playable abridged versions of all of their Final Fantasy games. Maybe not 7 minutes long, but a few hours? I would certainly pay for just a story mode.
Say what you will about Fox News (and I'm sure you will), Shep Smith is awesome.
I dropped Ni No Kuni 5 hours into it. The combat was just so boring. The enemies and familiars were just generic ripoff Pokemon, the voice acting was sub par, and the constant tutorials made the game sluggish. I have no idea why it's on so many people's top-10 lists.
Especially when you have to play a certain sequence OVER AND OVER AGAIN until you figure out what the game wants you to do. Don't you love hearing the same lines of dialogue repeated every time you fail an eavesdropping segment? I know I do.
What are "Easy Screenshots"??
Let's see...
My most enjoyable gaming experiences this year were on the Vita. I played through Final Fantasy VII again for the first time in 12 years, and Dragons Crown was tons of fun. It's the perfect system for lounging on the couch while your significant other watches TV.
Amalur was easily my favorite game of 2012. Unfortunately the developers get a lot of crap b/c of the Rhode Island loan default, but they made a great game and should be commended for it.
