I don’t agree with the post. The character is not horrible; she’s struggling with fresh grief and guilt and doesn’t have anyone who knows how to help her.

I love the concept of breaking the fourth wall. I guess you’ve never watched the British sitcom Miranda: the show does it constantly

She was a revelation in Broadchurch, and hearing that she’s in this has convinced me to watch.

I just finished binging this entire season and I think the writing and performances, especially that of Phoebe Waller is truly brilliant. I found nothing unlikeable about her character. Sorry to be that person, but, if the character was a dude, he would be praised for being honest, troubled, sensitive, and ultimately

I don’t think Fleabag is horrible. She’s not an easy character -- she’s grieving and angry and acerbic -- but I found her bothr relatable and likeable. She’s just a person, really, one that be awful and great in the same day.

i adore olivia colman, broadchurch is the last thing i saw her in

Agreed, I love her warts & all, not sure why she’s classified as unlikable. She is certainly NOT anything like the characters on Girls, who seem to have no agency. Fleabag is broken but she is interesting and even when completely down & out she does not allow herself to be a victim of circumstance.

She’s a great writer and a brilliant performer. I wanted more.

This show is really good, and I don’/t think she’s unlikeable. I loved how the arc of the story helped you understand her better.

I’ll watch this for Olivia Coleman alone!!

This was an amazing series that ended up being much more that I had anticipated.

This woman has a teaching license! Illinois requires a bachelor’s degree and additional subject-area training for certification. Apparently she got though all that with zero critical thinking abilities or knowledge about sources and information gathering.

Sorry, I wrote this badly. I meant men are annoyed that women, for once, are objectifying them as opposed to the other way around. * I should proof read before I post. Sorry!

Most of this nonsense about “gym bodies” and “unrealistic standards” is annoyance about men being annoyed that women are objectifying them as opposed to the other way around. You’ve had CENTURIES to look at unrealistically hot female bodies, dudes. Give us the past couple of years.

I don’t absolutely hate it, but the ending was definitely one of the biggest most memorable eye-rolls of my life. One of those “REALLY??” situations.

A firsthand account from my friend’s fbook; account is set to private, so I just cut and paste:

I knew this moment would come .

Sidepiece is both self-explanatory and gender neutral.

Mastress. Make it happen.
