I love that she uses Amazon Whispersync, I love how the service picks up from where you last left off, no matter if it was on your audiobook/kindle/kindle app. That said, it's a bit pricey, is there any other service out there that does something similar?

Aside from the different wake up tones and the ability to record noises while you sleep, I find the interfaces to offer the same functionality. What do you think is different?

I love boomerang, and convinced a few friends to use it too. - Thanks for taking the time here to comment on the message board. I wish all developers would troll the boards and 'officially' post replies, I find myself much more likely to use an application if the developers are interactive, or at least if there's

The price is a little too high, but if they add better social sharing features to garner a community, then I'll swipe my card.

What is Groove Salad? I'd check myself, but the internet at 30,000 feet isn't reliable during this flight ... and the page won't load. I look forward to trying Jetblue's implementation of high speed net on the go soon.

Make sure to download all of the (now free) language expansion packs so that you can have free backups - before Google kills the service once it's implemented into Gtranslate. Then again, it'll probably offer more when it's implemented anyway, TBD.

I use this feature a lot to cut out the crap from seeing most recent stories of folks that I could care less about, and instead use this filter to see 'close friend' stories that I might care about. Why did they have to tuck this further away from my eyes?

This seems really cool - but I wish they included a few more use cases on their website or in the video... any thoughts or examples?

While there are many ways to get the 'vision', I follow this 'annual review' method and it really is a great process to break down your life into little accomplish-able chunks: http://chrisguillebeau.com/3x5/how-to-con…

I wonder if there are any battery life advantages to offline maps? I realize you may still be sucking juice via GPS, but if you're lost and only have 20% battery life left, would quickly downloading offline maps be the way to go? It seems to be a better option than draining it via LTE, or perhaps I'm just constantly

I can't help but wonder if he would've experienced the same pain, had he worn more comfortable shoes, and also had one of those floor pads meant for those that do stand for long periods (like at a register/etc.) that are specifically meant to avoid fatigue. We'll never know...? I do have both, and without them, I'd

Hmm, I think I'm being misunderstood. A while back I created a Facebook group called 'close friends', so I typically click on that filter in my news feed to filter out the noise from acquaintances. Turns out, it was easy to modify the settings for this new Facebook 'nearby friends' feature so that only they can see

The main reason I wrote is because I find this to be a really useful feature and wanted access ASAP. Considering that 24 hours later I now have the feature enabled, I guess I was a bit judgemental to assume it would be weeks away. Still, I've been burned in the past.

Is anyone else sick of companies (looking at you Facebook and Google) pre-announcing features? I'm sure it's a great marketing technique, but it would be nice if when I heard about something like this, it was available to use right now, instead of 'rolling out over the coming weeks'. Why not just tell me 'in the

I've had similar thoughts. I wonder if this and a couple of other recent bug 'fixes' were exploits that Snowden reported and are now being fixed. I'll put my tin hat back on now, thank you.

Speaking of typing 7 pages on her phone, I feel like that's how she replied here too. Oh well, we'll take what we can get!

When she refers to taking notes about everyone she meets in Evernote, I'm curious if it's through Evernote "Hello". It drives me crazy that the application doesn't allow you to edit notes on

Sorry for the confusion, but I was focused more on the 'send-it-later' type feature than the initial event creation.

Yes - thank you for this! I tried the 'Ever2One' program last week but immediately noticed the phishing scam. Now if OneNote would only support iOS passcode protection like Evernote, I'd have few reasons to look back (I'm not a power user, just a note taker).
