@SupaChupacabra: By most accounts, IM2 was less great because Marvel rushed it through before a final script was ready. Everyone involved was unhappy with that, definitely Favreau—maybe Theroux too, I don't know. I did enjoy his dialogue. But the plot definitely needed a makeover.

@AgentCoop: Actually I think that image is 107% win.

You won't trick me into buying no. 2! I start reading the poster, and then suddenly they're all over the walls, and falling out of the cupboards, and then the noises start outside...oh god, the noises...

Apparently I've been living in a sensory deprivation chamber for years and had no idea Paul Kidby sells Discworld swag. Well, there goes Christmas...at least for anyone who was expecting presents from me, and doesn't like Granny Weatherwax themed bookmarks.

@Feyhra: You should read the article, it's pretty good! (It also states very explicitly that this has NOTHING to do with homosexuality in humans.)

@go-falcons: The cockroaches all look like Cher.

@lazyeight: Yeah, I hear Richards can barely keep his pool filled with single malt these days.

@dkl415: Hush, I'm pretending he was never in a movie filmed west of the Prime Meridian.

@99TelepodProblems: Ah I see. Heard he was good in that but never caught it, will do.

Didn't know Cronos was up for re-release! Here's hoping it comes out on R2 as well. Bought it on VHS on first release, was a little disappointed (because Empire had hyped it to the max), but would love to see it again and compare to del Toro's other work.

Brilliant! Must rewatch GQ soon.

No Sir Ian, no Hobbit, says I.

"100 square feet? Luxury."

Glorious!

The sheer amount of crazy on display here actually got me excited...till I heard that riff again. U2 auto-cannibalization of the most cringeworthy kind.
