So if our "unconscious internal reflexes" really serve our best interests, why do people break up? I don't see fewer divorces among people who primarily choose partners by using their eyes and instincts, rather than their brains...to the contrary, in fact. We overrule our base instincts constantly, in matters big and…
@Post-Nuked: Seconded! An all-time favorite. Not for the squeamish, though.
@timbo62: Also, "tossing the snake" should be a euphemism for something.
@serenada: If by "threesome" you mean me, Mr. D and my man-sized dorky affection, you're right.

I saw the remains of Stjerneborg as a kid; only the underground chambers were left, and I had terrible nightmares about being stuck in them. I…
A couple of #corrections :
@Krakenstein: Was thinking about that...then I realized Tintin is the project GdT is not involved in.
@Evil Tortie's Mom: R.O.A.C.H.: Apologist.
Really, Io9, I thought better of you. Perpetuating disgusting stereotypes in the name of nostalgia! No. 9 alone is enough for a class action...suggesting Ionians are promiscuous?? Time and again, studies show that barely 60% are willing to trade "other favors, please specify" for Krell technology. And hardly anyone…
