SCHLAMM-SCHLAMM-SCHLAMM-stomp-stomp-stomp is the new BRAAAHMMM.

@Charlie Jane Anders: In that case both Wikipedia and my memory are full of crap, which won't be the first time. :) Thanks for clarifying.

The Avatar AMP Suit is probably the most expensive if we include damages. Reach for your drink: Maim a Na'vi. Try to get down on the dance floor: You're buying your lawyer a new house.

"Well, it's all-CG and motion-capture apes, which brings to mind Tim Burton's disastrous Planet Of The Apes movie."

@Robb Nunya: They weren't Nazis as this was WWI, just poor sods stuck in a trench. Whatever they were, they definitely deserved to eat better.

Huh? Sorry, I was transfixed by Han Kristofferson in the top graphic.

No rat goulash?

Too bad about Durrell; Salanoia Ralainasoloensis would have been a much better name. So I'm officially nicknaming this rodent Bruno.

What exactly was changed in no. 17?

Fun ad and a nice initiative, though I'm not sure what it has to do with cars. I would absolutely love to go to this event:

I want woolly mammoth farts in my wedding drink too. *pout*

Had a giggle at these "Recently learned facts" from the website:

@amygdala: Thanks, that'll teach me to watch videos with the sound on. :/ Kahlua might be too thin, I'll have to experiment to find out. To the lab!

@jchonan: Sounds even worse! I wonder why people do this voluntarily. I'm all for getting hammered, but I don't actively encourage my stomach to rebel on me. :)

Hmm, would this work with Kahlua as well? Or other kinds of alcohol? Because I've never seen a White Russian do this (and I've stared into a few). This might be because of the presence of vodka, or milk being less fatty and dense than cream, or...? Chemistry, enlighten me!

Wonderful. I have to admit I teared up a little bit. And would love to learn more about merperson culture...

@RogueA: It was a nursing male they captured. But the males are so elegant and colorful, and the females so large and ferocious, that the scientist got it wrong even though the "father" clearly had no female characteristics.

My professors always cite Aussie drama Rabbit Proof Fence as a prime example of inconspicuous use of CG — the filmmakers had to digitally change day into night because they couldn't shoot at night with the child actors.
