How does one text/email a landline? My father has bad eyesight and reading texts/email on his blackberry is difficult. My mother ignores her blackberry for the most part unless she's getting a call (which she'll answer depending on what person the ringtone corresponds to).
Creators have openly said that Gotham is based on NYC and that Metropolis is basically a conglomeration of a bunch of cities like Chicago, LA, NYC, Toronto, and some others. I think the Metropolis skyline was originally based on Toronto.
