Another trick for making your hole drilling easier, you can wrap masking tape around your drill at the depth you want (a decently fat ring) and then you can move faster without worrying about drilling too far. Kind of a drill bit jig.

Adding shelving to a my linen closet and cleaning closet definitely made life a lot better. Linen closet is just a few shelves, but the cleaning closet has several shelves, a bag-o-bags holder, and one of those racks for brooms and such.

I’ve always thought we need to be more creative with punishments, particularly with minors. Forcing mommy and daddy to pay a fine isn’t teaching anyone anything, and prison/juvy just ingrains further criminality.... Though, in this case, it’s a pretty extreme act of violence.

I definitely don’t tip for coffee (unless I’m in one of those hipster places where an art student makes your high-class coffee o-so-pretty), but in any restaurant, the tip is their wages and is part of the cost of dining out.
